Sometimes, the hardest part of figuring out how to get involved on campus is deciding where to start. Many students want to help others, but it’s hard to know how to be an advocate for others. Others feel like they’re not doing enough to help. Well, look no further! There are many ways to make a difference on campus, but different types of advocacy suit some better than others.

That’s why I decided to create this student advocate personality quiz. Keep track of your answers to get your advocacy type at the end:

If you got mostly A's, you are a Demonstrator:

You are vocal about the issues you care about. You are fearless and are willing to put yourself on the line for the sake of others. You can tend to be instinctive and impulsive, but you are the first to speak up for what is right.

Work alongside the organizer to build a movement that will make a true difference on your campus. Go out and protest for the things you believe in, but make sure to keep yourself and your peers safe.

If you got mostly B's, you are a Petitioner:

You are introverted, but you care deeply about others. You have a way with words and can express yourself concisely. You have a gift for persuading others, and your best work is expressed in writing.

Work alongside the campaigner to get your word spread out to the public. Petition your government representatives, your university officials, and other authority figures to speak up for what is right. Don’t let your voice be drowned out.

If you got mostly C's, you are an Organizer:

You are strategic and ambitious. You love being a leader and working in groups. You are not always the first to speak your mind, but you help others realize their full potential.

Work alongside the demonstrator to create a convincing and genuine narrative that will help your cause. Create/support a club, organization, or cause on campus that you feel is underrepresented. Try not to dominate the conversation too much, but encourage those around you to join together and do good.

If you got mostly D's, you are a Campaigner:

You have many strong opinions, but you don’t always know how to express them. You love to share posts and articles on social media and to discuss the news with your friends. You are a strong debater, but you hardly go out of your way to join movements or organizations for the causes you care about.

Work with all of the other personality types to help find your own voice. Spreading awareness is important, but it is also valuable to get involved.

If you took this quiz, then you are a Changemaker:

Wanting to get involved is the first step to making real change. There is no right or wrong way to advocate for yourself and others. Everyone has their own unique style. All types of student activists must work together to enact real change on campus and in the community and world around them.

Julia, I love this post because it makes the reader engage with the content and encourages them to take action, which I think fits perfectly for the theme of student activism on your blog. After taking the quiz I got Campaigner, and I felt that your description was accurate about my style of activism. I definitely find myself, more often, sharing other people’s articles and retweeting others' ideas on social media rather than writing my own. Until taking this quiz, I didn’t really think much of this, but it has made me more conscious of the fact that I can work on adding my own voice to the conversation. I think it's important to share ideas and articles to help…

I really enjoyed how interactive this post is. Not only my taking the quiz - as you said - makes me a change maker, but by creating such a quiz, you are a change maker in your own right. Good job.

According to the quiz I am a campaigner. I like that you say this advocacy-type works with everyone else to get the job done. I would consider myself someone who surrounds herself with people who have different stances of issues, as well as different world views and strategies about how to get things done. Life is just more interesting that way. Being an organizer was a close second for me, and I think this type encompasses me just a…
